Food Anticancer

Preventing the cancer can be started from the diet. According to research, food ingredients that contain antioxidants, vitamins, and polyphenols, may help prevent attacks that malignant disease.

The following is a list of food ingredients "anticancer", compiled based on the research Dr. Cynara Coomer:

1. Avocado.
Avocados are rich in antioxidant glutathione which can attack the free radicals in the body. Avocado is also a source of potassium and beta-carotene is good for the body.

2. Carrots.
Besides good for eyesight, carrots can also help the body to prevent cancer. The content of beta-carotene in carrots may be shielding the body from the threat of lung cancer, throat, stomach, colon, prostate, and breast. But the consumption of carrots for smokers should be limited in number, because the content of excessive beta-carotene in carrots may cause lung cancer.

3. Chili.
In addition to complement a fantastic meal, chili also has the ingredient capsaicin which can control the nitrosamines, cancer-causing.

4. Flax Seed.
Besides containing antioxidants that can block growth of cancer cells in the body, along with flax seed and omega 3 fatty acids proven to protect the body against breast and colon cancer.

5. Garlic.
Garlic can boost immunity and prevent organ damage due to attack cancer. Allium, carcinogenic compounds in garlic, can slow the progression of tumors.

6. Green Tea.
Not only good for skin health, green tea contains polyphenols which have a great effect to cure the tumor. Polyphenols will prevent the spread of the tumor tissue, by cutting off the supply of blood which will make the tumor to die by itself.

7. Sweet Root.
Liquorice or licorice (liquorice) is the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra. Liquorice plant is a kind of leguminous plant of Southern Europe and some parts of Asia. Glycyrrhizin contained in liquorice may help prevent prostate cancer. But the use of liquorice in patients with high blood pressure should be avoided.

8. Rosemary.
Rosemary leaves is a common flavoring mixed in a dish popular in Italy. For example, in the processing of shellfish, pork, or lamb. In fact, the leaves of antiseptics and antioxidants that can help the digestion of fat and slimming. Research shows that rosemary may inhibit breast tumor development.

9. Seaweed.
Seaweed is rich in beta-carotene, protein, vitamin B12, fiber, chlorophyll, and fatty acids, which are important for the body's defense against cancer.

10. Turmeric.
Turmeric works as anti-inflammatory to slow production of enzymes, which is associated with colon cancer and colon.
