JAKARTA. Travel Industry Exhibition event, Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) target attendance of over 35,000 the number of visitors with the number of transactions of more than Rp 20 billion.
This target is higher than last year's acquisition of 21,000 visitors with total transaction reached USD 14 billion. As stated by the President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Emirsah Sattar in GATF opening on Friday (10/08/2010) at Jakarta Convention Center.
GATF who claimed to be the biggest event of tourism in Indonesia was opened by the Emir and enlivened by the presence of Ms Jimena Navarette Miss Universe and Miss Indonesia 2009 Qory Sandrioriva.
This exhibition will take place on October 8 to 10 and followed by Garuda Indonesia Group, the business partners and travel agents, wholesalers, retailers, hotels & resorts and various related institutions in the tourism industry.
GATF will provide attractive offers to purchase tour packages to domestic and international. GATF also will open the "Mid Night Sale starting at 20.00-24.00 hrs on 8-9 October. In the evening sales, domestic tickets will go on sale with a price range from Rp 250,000 to Rp 750,000.
